On Tuesday, April 14, 2009 the Gabriela Mistral Foundation delivered a project in Montegrande to the Corporacion Montegabriela.  This moving ceremony was attended by children of Montegrande, local authorities, educators, parents , the public in general and the news media.

Mrs. Veronica Rojas de Garafulich, a great niece of Lucila Godoy Alcayaga –our Gabriela Mistral— and the representative of the Gabriela Mistral Foundation in Chile made the journey from Santiago to Montegrande to deliver this special donation and to spend the day with the children of Gabriela’s Valley.
